First-time buyer

If you’re a first-time car buyer, you might not have a credit history, a down-payment, or a vehicle to trade-in. But don't worry! We collaborate with Canada's major banks and can provide you with flexible financing or leasing options.

Bad or no credit

Have a bad credit score, been refused a bank loan, or declared bankruptcy? Our solutions cover all credit situations. Our financing specialists can help you secure an affordable solution that fits your budget.

Newcomers to Canada

Moving to Canada means starting from scratch with your credit score. The good news is that we can still qualify you for a loan, and soon, you'll be driving off in your first Canadian car!

High rate on an existing loan

If you have an existing loan and believe you’re paying too much, we can assist. Our parent company, Go Auto, can buy out your remaining debt and provide you with a better finance rate and lower payment.

What do I need to
get approved?

Employment & income

Typically, you need to have been in your current job for three months or longer, and make a minimum of $1,800/month. Other forms of income, including certain types of government assistance, might also be accepted.

Down payment

Having a down payment can certainly help, but it's not mandatory. The less money you need to borrow, the higher the likelihood of the lender approving your car loan.

Driver’s license

Please bring your valid driver’s license to your appointment. Also, you need to be of legal age in the province you live in.

Current address

To complete your loan documents, we need your current address, including your monthly rent or mortgage payment.

Bank account

Lenders prefer to automatically withdraw the monthly payment from your bank account. The easiest way to arrange this is to provide a void cheque or a stamped pre-authorized payment form.

Contact details

You'll be asked for your full name, date of birth, phone number, and email address to apply for a car loan.

Paying Off Your Go Auto Kelowna Car Loan

Start pre-approval
Paying off your loan early

Most financial institutions allow early loan repayment after a specific period, usually six months. If you're interested in this option, you can contact your bank or us for more information.

Changes to payments

Lump-sum payments or increased regular payments are often allowed by most lenders. To find out about these options, you can contact us or your lender.

Extending a loan term

Once your loan is set up, most lenders won't extend the financial agreement. If you need an extension, you should reach out to the finance specialists at Go Auto Kelowna or your lender to see if it's a possibility.

Car loan insurance

While car insurance is common knowledge, many people don't know that they can also insure their car loan. If you were to lose your job or fall ill, loan insurance could cover your regular payments. Ask us at Go Auto Kelowna about this type of insurance.

Affordable financing

If you're on a low income, don't worry! If you're earning $1,800 a month or more, you could be eligible for a car loan.

Switching a loan to another vehicle

If you want to change vehicles but still have an existing car loan, we can help. We'll assist you in selecting your next car, paying off what you owe, and transferring any outstanding balance to your new agreement.
